Gilles Grenon was born in Chicoutimi. He currently lives in Montreal. He holds a master’s degree in communication from the University of Quebec in Montreal and completed a specialized graduate studies program (D.E.S.S.) in arts, creation and technologies from the University of Montreal. He is currently completing a master’s degree in music, composition and sound creation option at the Faculty of Music of the University of Montreal. He is mainly interested in interactive digital arts.
Gilles Grenon presented a collaborative performance with visual artist Mancy Rezaei at the Sonopixel Festival on April 23, 2024. He also performed at the Ultrasons Festival on April 22, 2022 and his animated film “Yi Ching, the book of transformations” was selected for the The Dérapages event as part of the Sommets du cinéma d’animation Montreal International Festival on May 12, 2022.
