Gilles Grenon was born in Chicoutimi. He currently lives in Montreal, QC. He holds a master’s degree in communication from the University of Quebec in Montreal and completed a specialized graduate program (D.E.S.S.) in Arts, Creation and Technology at the Université de Montréal. He has had a career as an information technology analyst for several years. His combined expertise as an analyst and his studies in the arts allow him to combine both the arts and technology. His main interests are digital arts, in particular the interactive processing of images and sound. His experience encompasses graphics and sound development environments such as Unity, Processing, Max MSP, Pure Data. He also has an elaborate practice with interactive sensors like Leap Motion, Kinect, cameras and with inter-system communication. He is currently working on projects which concern robotics and artificial intelligence, and which integrate OpenCV and programming in C ++ or Python.
