Leap Motion and Max MSP
This instrument makes it possible to generate tones from the positions of the fingers picked up by a Leap Motion device. The finger position data is pushed to 10 channels to produce MIDI notes.
The finger position data is pushed to 10 channels to produce MIDI notes.
With X axis, left-right movements define the pitch of the notes (higher to the right)
With Y axis, up-down movements adjust intensity (higher up);
With Z axis, forward-backward movements change note duration, longer towards operator direction).
The synthesizer also allows you to individually adjust the channels:
Adjusting the pitch of notes;
Output volume of notes;
Source filtering (%) to reduce the number of notes;
Duration of notes;
Number of echoes;
Volume of echoes;
Echo output volume.
Mappings to MIDI instruments are given by a value 0 to 128. They can be selected manually or chosen at random and can be stored in memory).
